According to the current results and projections on Sunday evening (21:00) the candidates of the Socialist Party seem to have won the vast majority of municipalities in Vora e Kamza near the capital Tirana, as they are ahead in Elbasan, in central Albania.
Blerim Shera looks to have won the Municipality of Vora with a deep margin of votes, where the voting and counting was done electronically.
The results have come on the voting centers where the counting has ended. So far Vora, votes hasn counted 36 polling stations, out of 44 in total.
The preliminary percentage represents a voter count of 8,125. After this preliminary result, the citizens of Vora, supporters of the socialist candidate Shera, started the celebrations.
In Elbasan, the counting has been completed in 150 out of 224 polling stations, while Gledian Llatja of SP is ahead of his rival from the opposition coalition “Bashkë Fitojme”, Luciano Boçi.
According to the results so far published by the Central Election Commission, the socialist mayor who is seeking second mandate in Elbasan, Llatja, is in the lead with 4537 votes, in front of Boçi who was able to secure 20286 votes or about 44% of the votes.
The voting process has come to a close in the municipalities of Përrenjas, Librazhd, Cërrik and Gramsh, where more than 40% of the voters participated.
11,254 voters or about 44.2% participated in Përrenjas Municipality. Librazhd municipality, namely KZAZ 52, 14,607 voters cast their ballot, or about 43.9%. While in Cërrik, 12,235 people participated. Gramsh municipality had a participation of 44.78%, in KZAZ 51.
