Prec Zogaj’s new book

Besides his political activity, Prec Zogaj is known by the public even
for his contribution as a poet in the Albanian literature. His last book
promoted at the Ministry of Culture is titled “end of another
childhood” and brings for the reader a group of poems that belong to his
recent creation.
The author declared that he sees this publishing as his best book.
Poet Parid Teferici considered Zogaj’s work as a foundation stone in the new Albanian poetry. The Minister of Culture, Visar Zhiti, declared that the book is a nice selection of memories and experiences of the author.
Prec Zogaj has published more than 10 poetry books. His first “Emrat Tuaj” (Your Names) belongs to 1985. He has won several prizes, such as “Penda e Argjendte” in 2000, with “Kalimi”, and the Lasgush Poradeci prize in 2008 with “Gjalle une te pashe”.
