Same as warned by opposition Parliament Members at the Media Commission,
the 20 million EUR of the Ministry of Innovation, Technology
Information and Communication, for the establishing of two Public
Albanian Radio Television networks is being closed one week before the
general elections.
Same as warned, the tender was won by the same company that was mentioned before the tender, although it had given the most expensive offer, not the mostly favorable economically.
“We have warned about the winning company before the race was even held. It is a race that was opened without a project, without a limit fund and with illegal procedures. This obliged us to make a report at the Tirana Prosecution, even just to make Minister Pollo and the Commission aware of the situation, being the people that have decided to find an illegal winner”, Dalipi declared.
The two Socialist Party Parliament Members, Alfred Dalipi and Taulant Balla, have filed a lawsuit at the Tirana Prosecution against Minister Genc Pollo for violating procedures, and appealed the company to not sign the agreement.
“The company that has been qualified with 20 million EUR, is the one that we had warned to win the race illegally. The company should not start negotiating the agreement with an illegal practice. We have said it before that the tender is illegal, one of the affairs that will be immediately investigated after the elections”, Dalipi declared.
One week before the Albanians address to the voting centers, while the public’s opinion attention is focused on the election, the government is closing a tender in a record time, with a 20 million EUR value and by violating some of the key procedures of the public procurement law. The opposition Parliament Members asked the companies to not sign the agreements, because the tender that is paid by the Albanian tax payers will be investigated after the elections.
