Terror acts in Europe have increased the inspections and security
measures in maritime ports around the country. Not only police, but also
port security forces are involved.
The Durres Port and its structures were put into test last evening, to see the response ability in case of bomb alarms.
“This demonstration showed the force of the port authority to prevent terror acts. I have to apologize to the travelers for the evacuation”, said Gazmend Shalsi, Director of the Durres Port.
