Pope Francis addressed a message to the people of Macedonia.
He said that with his visit of this Tuesday, he will plant the seeds of brotherhood.
Pope Francis will start a Balkan tour this Sunday, starting with Bulgaria, where he will visit a small Catholic community where the Orthodox Church denied the idea of having a joint prayer with the Holy Father.
An important part of the three-day tour will be his visit to Skopje, Northern Macedonia, where Mother Theresa was born in an Albanian family, and was named Gonxhe Bojaxhiu.
“The beauty of your country is related to the diversity of cultures, ethnicity, and religions. Co-existence is not always easy and we know this, but it is worth trying, because the most beautiful mosaics are the ones that have more colors”, Pope Francis said.
