Pollo’s 25 million EUR tender

One week before the elections, the Minister of Innovation, Genc Pollo,
has signed a controversial tender for the digital construction of the
public television.
Pollo has given the 25 million EUR agreement to two companies: “Rod and Schwartz” and “Ericsson A.B?”.
The Minister also ordered the establishment of a work group that will negotiate two special agreements with these companies.
The procedure followed by the Ministry of Innovation for this tender has been considered by the opposition as a clear corruptive affair.
Socialist Parliament Members and experts of this area have declared that the procedure is illegal and that the 25 million EUR payment will be taken from the citizens money to the pockets of the officials who administered the tender.
But this is not the only urgent decision. One day ago the government approved another concessionary agreement.
It is about the construction of a yacht port in Porto Palermo, where the government has approved the unilateral proposition of a private company by exploiting it even with a 8% bonus.
The company is called “Studio AMZ”, registered at the National Registration Center under the name of two Italian citizens and one Albanian citizen.
This unrequested agreement has been approved a few days before elections brought down the government, and it raises many moral questions.
