During the second international scientific conference “Stable Regional
Development” held at the “Aleksander Xhuvani” University in Elbasan, the
Minister of Education, Lindita Nikolla, promised more support for
scientific research.
“We are far from the European standards. We must do more on this sector. First of all, lawmakers must support science and scientific culture through a better budget”, Nikolla declared.
Present in this conference were professors and academics from the region and Europe. Minister Nikolla underlined that fact that politics must stay away from schools and universities.
“We have promised and the process has started for turning into reality the day when politics will be away from schools, so that these institutions may have a new standard”, Nikolla underlined.
