Politicians congratulate Muslim devotees

Same as in every religious celebration, Albanian politicians visited the
See of the Muslim Community and wished a happy Bayram for all
believers.

The President gave a special message to the Muslim clergymen who together with their catholic and orthodox brothers resisted to the communist hell, which banned religions for decades.

The ending of Ramadan coincides with the beginning of a difficult week for the majority. After last Thursday, when the votes for having a qualified majority were missing, the majority will try it once again this Thursday, when they will vote important laws such as the territorial reform or the draft-law for the High Council of Justice.

Prime Minister Rama declared that he doesn’t like when all politicians rush at religious sees for congratulations on these days, when we know that everyone is equal today.

Parliament Speaker Ilir Meta declared that anyone feels more ready today to reflect for a better future for every Albanian.

“This celebration should not be affected b this week’s political developments”, he said when asked about the political events.

The opposition leader also declared that the messages in religious sees should not be politicized. In his message for the devotees, Basha made a wish for the government: “I hope that no one will evade the promise of the big new mosque/. We should not use any other message in this day”, Basha declared.

When asked about the progress of the project for the new mosque, Basha told journalists to ask his political adversary for this.

The PJIU leader declared that he trusts that the government will bring dignity to the Muslim believers and build the new mosque.

Socialist MP, Pandeli Majko, declared that Fitr Bajrami teaches us that people are not perfect, and this makes us be grateful to those who teach us how to confront the difficulties”, Majko declared.
