The Democratic Party press office notified today that the Director of
the Albanian Post Office had been fired for violating the electoral law
and for pressuring employees.
Right after the news was published, the Post Office Director claimed that this order was against the law.
“The order has no explanatory relation from the Task Force. It is just an order with four points. The order of Minister Ekonomi is illegal because it doesn’t specify what part of the regulation I have violated”, said Majlind Lazimi.
Majlind Lazimi, General Secretary for Economy at the SMI, admitted that he was part of the electoral activities of the SMI, but outside the working hours. The second strongest reason, according to him, is that this decision is politically based.
