A special hearing session was held at the Albanian Parliamentary Committee of Foreign Relations.
Arta Dade, Chairwoman of this Commission, declared that the representatives of the Foreign Ministry were invited to answer about the problematic situation in the neighboring country and the fact that our President has not decreed our ambassador in Skopje.
The meeting continued without a media presence. The Chairman of the Commission, Aldo Bumci, criticized what is happening in Macedonia.
“It is clear that the crisis in Macedonia has not been created on ethnic grounds. This crisis has been created by the implementation of “putinism”, an authoritary system that is being implemented by the current government and the Prime Minister, who is controlling the independent institutions, the media, the opposition and is implementing the model of Putin in Macedonia. The US Secretary and other western officials have also expressed their opinions about an endangered democracy in Eastern Europe and Balkan”, Bumci declared.
He accused the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of creating the stalemate with the appointing of the new Ambassador in Skopje. According to him, now there are only political ambassadors, which, he said, has been opposed by President Nishani.
