The Polish President, Andrzej Duda, said that the EU should keep open doors for Balkan’s accession, and find new programs and instruments that support this.
As for the Balkan countries, especially regarding Kosovo and Serbia, he said that neighboring countries must find dialogue.
“Their history is very difficult. For me this is something different from what we face in Poland. We had such events after the World War II, but now we can discuss them with calm and without any grudges”, he said.
“These matters must be discussed and resolve through dialogue, between leaders. This is an important duty of Brussels and of the EU member countries. EU must keep its doors opened for new accessions”, the Polish President said.
