Police take measures for tourist season

The Police have taken measures for facing the increased number of
tourists in Albania. The Head of the State Police declared that besides
the local government institutions, municipal police and environmental
inspectorate, help will come even by the Police chiefs of Special
Forces.

One of the most rigorous measures, according to the police, will be the movement of aquatic vehicles.

“Motorized vehicles and vessels will be allowed only in some areas. There will be buoys to set the limits, and given distances from the shore, which will change from 100-300 meters to 1 mile from the coast”, the Spokesperson declared.

Police say that they have taken measures to respond to criminal activities in tourist areas and to stabilize the road traffic.
