The Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, declared that the Rrogozhina
murder is a very serious crime which left two prisoners killed, one of
whom is a notorious killer. Two other people were wounded during the
attack.
Authorities continued the investigations, summoning at least 30 people for any possible information that could lead to finding the authors.
The Peqin Prison staff and other inmates have also been interrogated, since the killers might have been informed from inside the prison for the itinerary of the prisoners.
Police sources say that the Kavaja Prosecution has seized the camera footage of businesses close to Gjepali’s residence in Durres.
The police suspects that the killers have been followed by their collaborators in another car, who have followed the car of the victims.
The attack left two prisoners who were returning to prison from their leave, and wounded two other people, one of them a 23-year-old passerby citizen.
Minister Tahiri and the General Chief were invited in the annual analyze of the Durres Police, a district that has seen some serious crimes in the past months.
