Police seized 105 kg of hashish that was being transported out of the Lazarat village towards the Greek border.
Three people were caught near the Bureto Mountain, over the Libohova town. After being followed by the police they have abandoned the bags and ran towards the mountainous area, profiting from the darkness.
Police found 105 kg of marijuana divided in bags.
Cannabis seized at the Albanian-Greek border
650 kg of cannabis sativa were seized today by the police at the Albanian-Greek border between Qafe Bota and Igumenica.
Sources from the Greek Police inform that five people have been arrested, two Albanians and three Greeks.
The drug was hidden in a truck in Saranda and its destination was Greece. The truck was escorted by a few other vehicles.
The Greek Police were able to arrest the drug traffickers and started the investigations for identifying the other persons involved in the drug traffic.
