700 kg of cannabis sativa was seized at the port of Durres. The
operation held by the police this Monday resulted with the capture of
the drug that was hid in a vehicle.
The port authorities arrested the owner of the truck, the 24 year old Redi Furxhi.
According to the police, the vehicle was trying to enter Italy through the Durres-Bari ferry.
Korce, 10 kg cannabis seized
Police seized 10 kg of cannabis sativa in Korce. One of the drug dealers was arrested while one other is on the run.
The drug was found in the house of the 26 year old Ervis Ligori, who had hidden it in the basement.
Police declared that the drug came from Laxarat, and was distributed by the two young dealers mainly in the Korce high schools.
