Police seize ‘chocolate’ cannabis, other narcotics from two distribution groups bases

A several-day investigation by the Tirana police brought to the discovery of two bases for drug trafficking in small doses.

After the finalization of the two operations, authorities said that 48.5 kg of ‘chocolate’ cannabis  and 312 gr of heroin were seized. The narcotics were possessed by three cousins ​​in the Tufina area on the outskirts of Tirana.

Further on the police searched the apartment of 43-year-old Sami Qordja and found 160 packages of cannabis in the form of chocolate.

Along with the 43-year-old, the police handcuffed his son Kevin Qordja, as well as seized a shotgun firearm and other materials as evidence. The finalization of this operation led the police to move to the village of Tujan, to the apartment of another relative, now arrested Ramazan Qordja, where 312 grams of heroin were seized.

The 31-year-old is suspected of distributing drugs in small doses as an electronic scale was seized from his apartment. Tirana police have information that the 31-year-old was distributing heroin in the area of ​​Tufina, in Babrru and in “Myslym Keta” street.

It is suspected that he was supplied by other persons with quantities of 1 to 2 kg of heroin and then divided it into small doses. The capital’s police and prosecutor’s office are deepening investigations to find other people involved in the drug trafficking scheme.
