The State Police will ask help from the army and other authorities in
case of an influx of immigrants, according to Genc Merepeza, General
Border Director.
He said for Top Channel that no organized group of immigrants has been seen so far wanting to enter our country. He adds that Albania cannot be a transitory country without an exit port. Police say that Albanian can take care of no more than 2000 immigrants.
Five Morocco citizens were caught last week after breaking through the border in Gjirokastra and were then returned.
The Italian experts are expected to assist with the situation have not arrived so far in Albania.
