Immediately after denouncing the corruption in the Patent Disciplinary Commission Traffic Police, in the investigative program “Fiks Fare”, the State Police suspended from duty the vice-commissar Agim Kamberi, specialist in this station, leaving it in the hands of the group up investigation, as a suspect for corruption and abuse of office.
Effective Kamberi, that was exactly the person who appeared in the camera of investigative program “Fiks Fare”, is shown while making a bargain with citizens, in order to return the vehicle’s driving license, which had been previously blocked at a police checkpoint, because of violations committed during the movement of the citizen.
State Police also announced that it has initiated the application of disciplinary measures against Vice commissar Agim Kamberi, while the Tirana Prosecution announced that for this case, the unit has launched an investigation task force for passive corruption and abuse of office against vice-commissar Kamberi.
Even the Internal Audit Service has paid a visit to the traffic police in the capital and it is precisely these sources who say they have found that the way the patent is blocked by checkpoint in question is regular and that violations are committed by other persons in the precinct of Traffic Police.
