On January 8, on the Gjegjan-Reps highway in Puka in the north of Albania, a “Skoda Fabia” rented in Rinas by the Italian, Davide Pecorelli, was found burned out.
Police authorities in Puka have announced that after the investigation it turned out that the car type “Skoda Fabia” with which the Italian was traveling, burned as a result of an electrical defect.
Meanwhile, the same sources say that they could not contact the Italian citizen.
Meanwhile, the Italian media have echoed the disappearance of the former Italian referee, Davide Pecorelli. According to these media, the 45-year-old left Italy in the first days of the year and landed at Tirana airport, but since he has disappeared without trace.
The 45-year-old had come to Albania several times after having an Albanian partner, while he was working to expand his business activity in the field of beauty salons.
In her testimony, the Albanian partner of the Italian stated before the investigative group that on January 3, that Davide had travelled from Vlora towards Puka and that he had around 400 euros with him. Meanwhile, Davide’s last conversation on Whastapp was on Wednesday, January 6, with his wife.
