Klement Balili, wanted by Greece and Albania, will be investigated by
the Prosecution of Serious Crimes based on the data sent by Greek
Authorities on November 14th.
Albania has no extradition agreement, and authorities might follow the same procedure as with the former MP, Mark Frroku. The investigations are undergoing also by the Greek authorities, in parallel with their Albanian colleagues.
One day after Top Channel published the news that a 10.000 page of evidence material was not sent at the Prosecution yet, Justice Minister Ylli Manjani reacted and said that the case was sent over to the Prosecution the day that the news was made public.
Manjani also confirmed that the case has arrived at the Ministry of Justice three weeks ago, and after working with 15 translators, it was sent to the Prosecution General, to continue with the other procedures.
The materials brought by the Greek authorities accuse Balili of several crimes, from drug narcotics, to human traffic.
