The parliamentary investigative commission for the recruitments and
replacements in the police continued this Wednesday where they left one
day ago, with the hearing session of the former Chief of Economic
Sector, Arjan Hoxha.

Hoxha is accused by the Socialist Party for forging the diploma. He rejected the accusations and stood to the declaration of one day ago, saying that he was discharged by the Interior Minister after a threat. But the Socialist members decided to file a criminal report.

“The Commission is concluding its procedure and based on the law for commission, when the final report has information about criminal acts, we have the right to file the report for the forgery of your diploma as a criminal act”, declared the vice chairman of the Commission, Taulant Balla.

“The references are for the verifications made by the commission, based on the procedure that this commission should follow. If the actions are outside the context, then there is no value. What others do outside this commission it’s not our concern”, answered the Chairman, Arben Ristani.

Another controversial name, Erzen Brecani, declared that he was discharged due to a conflict with the Interior Minister. When asked about the violence used against a Top Channel cameraman, he declared that there was no investigation at the Prosecution about this.

As for the message posted on Facebook agains the current Prime Minister, Brecani declared that the message was written by his 10 year old son and he was not responsible, and that the Prosecution has nothing about that.

The Commission will start investigating his work on Friday, with a hearing session of the Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri.
