Police is looking for the suspected author of a macabre crime that took
place today. A 32 year old from Durres, Odisve Verbofshi, is on the run,
fleeing from the police. The 20-year-old Gazep Pili has been arrested
for helping him to dispose of the body.
Shaban Babasi and Albert Kasalla, 27 and 32, both from the Fushe Kruje area, were executed this Thursday and their bodies were burned in a vehicle in the Durres suburbs.
The firefighters put the fire out, and found the bodies inside.
The police contacted with 36 people, until they published the identity of the suspect, Odise Verbofshi, 32, with no prior convictions.
The Serious Crime of Durres discovered that both men were shot in the head in Verbofshi’s house and were then transported for hiding the traces.
The motive of this crime is a drug deal went wrong. 74 kg of this quantity were found in the suspect’s house. Police also seized two handguns and bullets.
