Security measures will be increased from Friday until Sunday, due to the
NATO Parliamentary Assembly that will be held in Tirana.

Police said that six Police Precincts are ready to protect nine hotels where 600 delegates will be accommodated.

The hotels were already checked and will be guarded for three days by the Police and the Armed Forces, including the Secret Service, the Security and Defense Intelligence Agency and the National Guard.

Special Forces will also stand by while other elite units will monitor the situation from the highest buildings. Army helicopters might also patrol around.
