Police finds 18 cases of illegal electricity connections a week

The Police has cooperated with the Energy Corporation and have verified
18 cases of electricity theft. Official sources say that 2995
inspections have been carried out in a national scale.
From these 18 cases, 4 people have been arrested in the act. Five others are on the run and nine are being prosecuted in probation.
879 electricity accounts have been interrupted during this time for having accumulated large amounts of debt, and police have found 18 illegal connections.
