After the Democratic Party said that the brother of Fatmir Xhafaj was
involved in an international drug traffic and that there has been an
extradition request from Venezuela, the State Police reacted and said
such an order does not exist.
Police say a detailed inquiry on the Interpol system shows no such request for Agron Xhafaj, brother of the Socialist Party MP, Chairman of the Parliamentary Commission for the Justice Reform.
Police appealed the Democratic Party to stop with abuses, but address a formal request to authorities, which are ready to offer all necessary information.
