50 grams of explosives was the amount found to have been used in the vehicle of the head of the “Reestablishment” branch of the opposition DP, as it is known the DP faction led by former PM Sali Berisha, in Vau i Dejes in northern Albania.
For the serious incident, where Benard Ndreca was targeted with a tritol in his vehicle, 6 people were taken to the police of Shkodra for interrogation.
On Tuesday morning, two masked persons entered the bhouse yard of the DP local chairman in Vau i Dejës, Benard Ndreca, and planted the explosive in his car. After a few hours, Ndreca entered his “Audi” type vehicle to go to work, but as soon as he moved the amount of tritol placed there exploded.
Ndreca, who escaped unscathed, says that he has no conflict and stated that the assassination attempt has political motives.
“This incident that happened to me and my family is well thought out.
I don’t have any conflicts, neither does my family. This incident has a name and it is a political name. The bomb was not placed on Benard Ndreca, but it was placed on the chairman of the Vau i Deja DP branch”, said the target of the attack.
