Police Chief Haki Cako received Italian delegation: “Excellent cooperation between both countries”

The purpose of this meeting was joint patrol cooperation during the tourist season, and also for the fight against terrorism and illegal traffic.

Albanian Police Chief, Haki Cako, underlined the excellent cooperation between the Albanian and Italian police, which has been realized with significant results.

“The Italian Police has been very active in the past years, coordinating both of our efforts in the fight against organized crime and terror. The Interforce office in Albania has been cooperating in real time with our local police, exchanging information and realizing joint operations”, Cako asid.

The Vice Director of the Italian Police, Antonio Cufalo, thanked the General Police Chief Haki Cako for the availability, seriousness, reliability and professionalism shown so far, which has brought an excellent cooperation between both law-enforcing agencies.

“You have full support from Italy. Congratulations for your work and for the results achieved by the Albanian police and by our mutual cooperation. We are ready to keep working in this direction”, Cufalo declared.
