They are talented and willing to work and help others in science subjects. Klajdi and Kristjan are two distinguished middle school students from Pogradec, regular participants in national olympiads.
Driven by the idea of distance learning, they have recently created a Youtube channel that helps other students solve math or physics exercises.
Kristjan Angjo: We started this initiative six months ago, although the idea was born in the first period of quarantine. We believe that an online gallery with explanatory videos related to learning topics helps a lot of students who do not have the opportunity to go to private courses and helps them to walk at their own pace, especially in this pandemic period where online learning has become a necessity.
Klajdi Xhambazi: The channel name ‘2plusdy’ (Two plus two) symbolizes the simplicity we use in dealing with various learning topics. In each video-lecture we try to make even the most difficult learning topics as understandable as possible. We aim to grasp logic and not memorize things by heart. We hope to complete our online gallery with all learning topics in the near future.”
Apparently, the idea of high school students has been well received by their peers, as Kristjan Angjo adds: “Mentioning about 360 members, 1000 hours of viewing and approximately 100 video lectures posted on our Youtube channel, we can say that the interest has been high. Students also contact us on Instagram where they ask us about various problems they do not understand or have difficulty with, and we try to help them.”
