Prime Minister Edi Rama said today that within May the country will be completely open for tourists.
“This month the country will open up, the borders will be open as we are preparing for the tourist season,” Rama said.
He also spoke about the National Theatre demolition making ironical literary references.
“I am touched by the sudden love for the Theater. Since this is how this work came about and Albania unexpectedly became the arena where the sons of Shakespeare clash with the imaginary regime in Lady Macbeth’s cup, and since we are at a time when we are facing Covid-19, I am reminding those who have chosen to get involved not politically that: Stupidity and wisdom are infectious as easily as the disease” stated Rama.
