Prime Minister Edi Rama in the weekly communication with journalists focusing on the economy has stated that fuel for agriculture will be stripped of the three taxes that previously burdened it, that of excise, turnover and carbon.
According to Rama, farmers must register with their NIPT serial tax number and the refund will be made directly to them.
“Starting from the beginning of next year, fuel for agricultural use will be provided free of charge, without excise, carbon tax and without turnover tax. The compensation in accordance with the amount of cultivated land will be done by the state. There will be no history of refund invoices, like those that once turned into scandalous scenes with fuel supplies for private cars. With this we enable farmers with NIPT to work without any burdens at all. There is a simple calculation for the liters of oil needed”, said Rama.
