Prime Minister Edi Rama commented today with concern on the publication by Top Channel of a series of documents that prove payments from Russian businessmen to undeclared accounts with the former chairperson of the LSI party Monika Kryemadhi, saying that it is related to the violation of national security.
Rama: “The bitter truth is that these rubles have been a great evil. They have taken our friends by the neck. This new justice will answer because this is a matter of great national and international urgency. We are a NATO country, and this mixture of “offshore” accounts and channel connections that lead money to the parties that want to bring freedom here, is a big problem, which the new justice must urgently address.”
Edi Rama said that the Kryemadhi affair with Russian money is a test for the SPAK special prosecution.
Rama: I understand that the crates of fish that can be taken to be cooked, without paying for the fish, but this is no longer the business of fish, it is the business of sharks that have entered the territory of decision-making in Albania and that have entered in the election process.
