The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, was today at the Archeological
Pak of Apolona, together with the EU Ambassador, Romana Vlahutin, to
inaugurate the reconstruction of the park.
Rama said that this is not the time to block, but to unblock the roads that are leaving Albania in a stalemate.
“This is not the time to block people who want to move freely around the country. This is not the time to block students, workers, teachers, grandfathers, grandmothers and goods, which are the bloodstream of our economy. We need to open these roads and build a modern, democratic and European country, where everyone is valued based on competition and merit”, Rama said.
He added that the cultural heritage generates revenues for these areas and for tourism.
