The government issued an order to suspend public procurements, in order
to avoid abuses during the transition, until the new government is
formed.

The current ruling cabinet is made of three political parties, the Socialists, the Democrats and the Socialist Movement for Integration.

Government sources said for Top Channel that the order aims to stop abuses with tenders from the technical ministers proposed by the Democratic Party, and Minister of the SMI, as both parties are expected to go on opposition after September.

Experts of the Ministry of Finances say that the purpose of this measure is to avoid the situation created in 2013, which, according to them, allowed the past government consume the entire budget of the year until September.
