The Turkish University ITY honored the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi
Rama, with the “Honoris Causa”. The Albanian Prime Minister said that
all countries in Balkan have the historic chance to give a special value
to peace.

He said that the Albanian-Turkish relations are an irreplaceable asset.

PM Rama said that our civilization needs the alliance of united hearts and minds for a world order where there is more respect and equality for each other and culture.

This university, according to Rama, is one of the examples of the ambition that Turkey has today, a modern state that has to keep on its shoulders a special and important role in the world arena, in times when the civilizations are clashing and the Islamic religion has become target of barbarians who think they are part of that religion, and of ignorant people who accuse Islam of creating barbarians.

ITY is one of the oldest universities in Turkey, founded in 1773 and which has contributed in the creation of entire generations of experts and specialists who have left their marks in the creation of the new modern Turkish nation.
