Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, during the speech held today at the National Assembly of the Socialist Party in power, proposed the changes in the government cabinet and also focused on the latest accusations that he “sold out his officials to the justice”.

“I have a great moral responsibility, greater than all of you. I neither apologize nor back down for supporting someone to work together, but then when someone gets into power and money, they betray not only my faith and yours, but our flag as well.

“My moral responsibility is to make sure that justice in Albania has the freedom and independence it needs to punish any kind of person who has kept the justice of the country as a dog tied to political chains,” said Rama, among other things.

Further on Rama called the party’s task the need to correct it, as he proposed the names of new ministers, condemning the socialists at all levels, who are now arrested or under investigation by the SPAK prosecution for corruption, including members of the assembly.

He proposed new names for the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education, Agriculture, Health, the Ministry of Enterprise, as well as names for the party structures, which he said will be approved at the party congress in October.
