From the assembly of the socialist party in power in Shkodra, the northern center of Albania, head socialist Edi Rama commented on the situation produced on Monday morning in the parliament by the deputies of the “Reestablishment” group of the opposition DP.

He said that those who create chaos have problems with justice.

“In the parliament, there is another very big trouble for someone, but it is not just one, there are several who have problems with justice, and have taken the parliament hostage with acts that people usually do when they get out of control”, said Rama referring to the chaos caused by the deputies after the non-fulfillment of the requests for commissions investigating corruption affairs.

The developments in the opposition camp, the SP chairman asked to be seen as a lesson for the Socialist Party.

“The opposition will be divided even more. This gives us a very clear message. We must care to bring ordinary people together. Shkodra, with separation from top to bottom and the placement of barricades in every neighborhood. The city that believed in that approach and here is the party that nurtured this approach”, added Rama.

Edi Rama returned to Shkodër 6 months after winning this municipality in the local elections, a victory which he called ‘the biggest challenge he has faced.’ He stated that Shkodra “we have it as a top priority”, which he illustrated with a multitude of projects started and others to be implemented such as the one with “Rozafa Castle”, the project of transforming the area into the former factory of Zdrale, or the Shirokë-Zogaj road that has received funding.

The Prime Minister earlier mentioned the work started on the construction site for the new entrance to Shkodra, in a value of 5 million euros.
