PM Rama: “National operation against criminal elements”

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, held a meeting with the task
force against the cultivation and trafficking of cannabis. He declared
that the police should prepare for a huge national operation against
criminal elements.
The government leader said that the achievements are clear, and there is a realistic and ambitious objective to bring cannabis cultivation to an end.
“Our fight against criminal money and assets will be escalated. Police must prepare for a national operation against criminal elements. There will be clashes without compromise. It is time to clean Albania not only of cannabis, but also of these living microbes who endanger the safety of common people”, Rama said.
