Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama was received today by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Hungary for the meeting of the European Political Community, as well as receiving the baton for the upcoming summit in Tirana in the first half of 2025.
He is participating in the fifth meeting of the European Political Community, along with 47 heads of state and government from all over Europe.
Participating leaders will discuss the security challenges facing Europe in the plenary session, which will be followed by four main sessions on migration and economic security.
The session on migration will include all aspects of legal and illegal movements, while the one on economic security will also discuss the connection in terms of energy, transport, IT and also global trade.
Rama has also met with the Serbian President Aleksandar Vučič, the President of the European Parliament, Roberto Mecola and the Prime Minister of the Government of North Macedonia, Christian Mickoski, Zedene informs.
