PM Rama inspects works for Myzeqe drainage and irrigation system

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, visited Myzeqe to observe
projects for 400 kilometers of drainage and irrigation canals in Lushnje
and Divjaka, also called “Agricultural Ring”.

The new practice with this investment is that every farmer will be equipped with water meters, which will provide a better management of water resources.

Rama said this transformation has created 250 jobs for local residents, and plans to employ 600 in total by its completion, including seasonal workers.

Investments also include the new Aqueduct, which will be complete by October 2017.
