The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, inspected the new implant built
in Elbasan, which processes urban waste and transforms it into energy.
The technology used in this implant is based on the latest standards.
“There used to be a field that was burning under the open sky, poisoning the entire city. Now there is an implant of European standards which produces energy”, the Prime Minister writes on a video posted on his Facebook profile.
Rama was accompanied by the Minister of Environment, Lefter Koka, and the mayor of Elbasan, Qazim Sejdini.
