PM Rama: “Government changes not related Ilir Meta or Democratic Party”

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, denied that the four ministers
are being replaced because of pressure from the Socialist Movement for
Integration or because of the pressure coming from the Democratic Party.

“These changes have nothing to do with the TV show of the Democratic Party. The new Ministers will come from the Socialist Party as well, and it has nothing to do with any request of Ilir Meta. Our leaders will only focus on contacting people for the elections”, Rama said.

Rama expressed his consideration for the four Ministers that will be replaced, the Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri; the Health Minister, Ilir Beqaj; the Anti-Corruption Minister, Bledi Cuci; the Minister of Social Welfare, Blendi Klosi;

“All of them leave with positive results. Saimir Tahiri is our champion, who turned the Police into the most trusted institution for Albanians”, Rama said.
