PM Rama: “Electronic voting, new alibi of an old government”

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, answered to the opposition’s
requests by saying that the electronic voting process was first
requested by the Socialist Party.
But, he adds, based on experience and on the opinion of OSCE/ODIHR, they cannot enter this adventure. However, the PM says his party would be ready to request the assistance of international experts on the matter.
“The Central Election Commission should start an exploring process and listen to everyone who can bring to Albania a concrete plan, with facts and guarantees, and which receives a positive opinion from the OSCE/ODIHR”, Rama says.
