The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, canceled the order of the Justice
Minister, making it clear that the resignations of Property
Registration directors cannot be rejected.
The news was made public by the Prime Minister’s office, who declared that the administrative investigation of the minister can continue in the meanwhile without any obstacle.
“If there will be other violations, the persons who have registered these violations must be brought to justice”, the Prime Minister’s Office declared.
The Albanian government underlines there is a Ethics Code which no Minister can violate.
“This code clearly defines that the government is not a group of individuals who act on their own, but a team that is led by a Prime Minister. It operates based on the simple principle that an approval is needed by the Prime Minister for administrative or communication operations”, the Prime Minister’s press office says.
