The Albanian PM, Edi Rama, visited a Korca school to promote a program for preserving the environment through recycling.
Dividing wastes for recycling is a program implemented in all city schools, but the Stavri Themelko school has had the Environmentalist Club for the past three years, a student initiative, who have also called their teaching class the name “Green Class”.
One of the students listed the benefits of recycling and planting trees, such as saving energy, water, pollution and less waste.
“You need to spread this experience througout the city. The municipality will fund the awareness materials for your action”, Rama said.
