The Party for Justice, Integration and Unity declared that they fully
support the agreement between KFOR and the governments of Kosovo and
Serbia.
This party says that the idea of a special status for Northern Kosovo should not be accepted at any cost, because it is an issue that doesn’t belong only to Kosovo, but to all Albanians.
“PJIU supports without reserves the agreement for the Customs checkpoints in Northern Kosovo. It is the first step for implementing law and order in north. On the other hand, PJUI opposes any idea for a special status for Northern Kosovo, because this would reopen old problems for the entire Balkan. Any attempt for such a status must and will face international reaction”, declared the Spokesperson of PJIU.
