The Party of Justice, Integration and Unity (PJIU) came out May 8th local
elections with 270 councilors, becoming the fourth political force in the country.

PJIU leader, Shpetim Idrizi, declared that 65,000 Albanians voted this political force. He added that if their party would have had vote counters in Zonal Election Commissions, their results would have been much higher.

Idrizi referred to the problem with the Tirana Municipality by saying that it is time for the ballot counting process to use the electronic form, in order to avoid this kind of electoral chaos.

“It is time to use the electronic vote counting method. The militants of bigger parties must find real jobs, not in electoral commissions as counters, observers or people who transform the elections by inciting political conflicts. The significance of PJUI was reconfirmed with these elections”, Idrizi declared.

In this meeting, PJIU leader notified that they will ask the Parliament to approve fiscal policies for better commercial transactions between Albanians around the Balkan region.

“We will ask the government to take special measures for supporting the goods that come from the Balkan region, especially from Kosovo. We will work for transforming Albania and Kosovo into an energetic superpower”, Idrizi declared.

PJIU leader also declared that his political party will ask the Parliament to abrogate the decision for population registration on ethnic and religious bases.
