69 years after 2900 Cham Albanians died in the Kllogjeri field, after
being evicted from their homes by reservist armies, now they will have a
resting place and Muslim priests prayed for them according to the
tradition.
Shpëtim Idrizi, leader of the Party for Justice, Integrity and Unity, who was the initiator of this Monumental Cemetery, declared that some of the testament of their fathers were complete.
“Today we completed a humane testament through this prayer held 70 yeas later. For us, the Chams of Albania, they have died yesterday. We prayed for them today, because for us this place will be the Mecca of Albanianism”, Idrizi declared.
Same as every year, the participants started marching from Kllogjeri to the Qafe Bote border crossing, where Chameria is politically divided.
The Party for Justice, Integrity and Unity chose this site to conclude their electoral campaign and demand what is said on their slogan: “We want a united Albania”.
“I guarantee my friends that I and 6 other Party for Justice, Integrity and Unity Parliament Members will not stay hand on hand, but we will work in the Albanian Parliament for the Cham issue. Vote no.50, vote for the Party for Justice, Integrity and Unity, vote for a party that will turn to reality the testament of our predecessors and all Albanians, from Preveza to the Molle e Kuqe”, Idrizi declared.
