Prime Minister Edi Rama was present this Monday at the ceremony held for this event. He underlined the direct benefits that Albania will have, such as investments in infrastructure, sales of land in some areas and employment.

“TAP has contributed by rehabilitating schools, has organized campaings for security and health. Here in Spitalla it will bring jobs. The total project is expected to inject 1 billion USD and create 15.000 new jobs in the next five years”, Rama declared.

The Minister of Energy, Damian Gjiknuri, said that this is a process that belongs to the people of Albania, although it is a foreign investment.
