The traditional pilgrimage has started today in the church of “Shen Ndou” in Laç, in northern Albania, as many faithful have headed to the holy place with their prayers and wishes.
Even though in a time of pandemics, the number of arriving believers is high.
Pilgrims to the church of “St. Ndou” come from all over the country and without religious differences, Christian or Muslim.
Father Prel Gjurashaj tell that although in difficult times, the believers do not forget this holy place.
In order to guarantee the progress of the pilgrimage, numerous officers of the Local Police Directorate in Lezha have been engaged, who have drafted a plan of measures that will be implemented during the 13 weeks of the pilgrimage.
