Ishem was listed as one of the most polluted rivers in Albania. If this wasn’t bad enough, residents have found a large amount of decomposing pig heads.
The Municipality took action immediately by covering, sanitize the area, while law enforcing authorities are looking for those responsible.
The pig heads and other body remains may have been thrown by one of the slaughterhouses in Lezha and Tirana, or by sausage factories.
